To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • The exact model of your HP laptop.
  • Do you notice any lights (power LED, caps lock, charging indicator) or fan noise when you press the power button?
  • Have you tried connecting the laptop to an external monitor or TV to check if the display works there?
  • Did this issue start suddenly, or was there any recent update, drop, or hardware change before it began?

Suggested Troubleshooting Steps

  • Hard reset: Disconnect the AC adapter ,Hold the power button for 30–40 seconds, then reconnect only the adapter and try powering on.
  • External display test: Connect to an external monitor using HDMI or VGA. If the external display works, the issue may be with the laptop’s screen or cable.
  • BIOS recovery: Press and hold Windows + B while powering on the laptop. This can sometimes trigger a BIOS recovery screen.
  • Check for beep codes or LED blink codes: If the laptop gives any beeps or blinking LED patterns, note them down they can indicate specific hardware issues.
