Hi,

I am using the default settings in the Power and Sleep settings. The notebook is plugged in to AC Power. It is plugged into the thunderbolt docking station with mouse, keyboard and ethernet connected. The display is supposed to turn off after 10 minutes and the computer is supposed to sleep after 30 minutes of idle time. It I do not connect an external display, everthing works fine.

If I connect an HP27sv monitor to an HP DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter, and plug that into the docking station, then I get the following behavior. After a reboot, everthing works fine up till the first time the computer sleeps: The display turns off after 10 mintues and wakes up fine. After 30 minutes the computer goes to sleep.  However, once the computer has woken up from sleep mode, then it always goes back to sleep after two minutes. No matter what I do with the Power and sleep settings the computer goes to sleep after two minutes of idle time.

I can also reproduce the bug using the sleep button on the keyboard:

  •  Connect external display
  •  Press sleep button on keyboard, computer goes to sleep
  •  Wake up computer and sign in
  •  Wait two minutes with no activity, computer goes to sleep again (should be 30 minute wait)

This system has the NVidia Quadro M1000M display adapter for the docking station display ports. NVidia driver version is 354.86
