I am attempting to get my new laptop to use 3 screens. I have two external monitors with VGA/DVI connectors on them that I have been using with my older laptop/docking station LenovoT470). I bought two cables, one an HDMI to DVI-D and the other a USB-C to DVI-D cable.
WIndows 11 detects all three monitors, however the USB-C monitor keeps going between sleep/wake every 8-10 secs. The specs on the 15-ee1093cl say the the USB-C port is "1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)" and I bought this over other laptop models because of this port. Is there some settings in WIn11 that I need to use to get this to work correctly? I updated all the drivers with the HP tool before I posted this. I am on Win11 2H21 according to the Settings.
I have swapped cables on the monitors, and the problem stays with the USB-C port. That is, the DVI to HDMI works on both monitors and the USB-C to DVI cable sleep/wakes every 8 seconds on both.

This is a quick follow-up in case someone ever googles this with the same problem. The only thing I hadn't tried was to swap cables, so I returned the cable I had and bought this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TS6DXF?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_title&th=1
All displays are working perfectly now.
