HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f0000 (39H22AV)

My Spectre x360 16 was sent to service for having scratches on the corners of the screen (both equidistant from the cornering bezels) and clicking hinge sound when opening the laptop.

The result came as "Pure Misuse".

I cannot understand this. I took very good care of my laptop knowing how expensive it is and that I want to use it for a long time.

As you can see in the videos which I made before sending it to repair, other than the problems I mentioned earlier, it doesn't have any flaws or scratches. Never dropped it, never carried it without the official HP case. And it has been only 8 months.

I really cannot understand how this is my misuse when there are other cases where people complain about getting scratches on the screen without doing anything as well.

I feel violated because I am sure that this has nothing to do with my "misuse".

I sent an email to the support as well, I don't want that it's sent back to me and after I have to send it again for a reassessment and wait for two more weeks. I don't have a replacement laptop.

I need some advice and understanding. Otherwise I'm going to have to file a legal complaint.

Thank you

Hi @OzgunDogan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand that this is Hardware issue. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
