Hi:

The only suggestions I can offer are these, if you have not done so already...

1. Try the W7 driver from your notebook's support page.

This package contains the Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad Driver for the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems. The driver provides advanced features such as PalmCheck, EdgeMotion, tap zones, double-tap, and tap-to-select.

File name: sp46509.exe

2.  Try the touchpad driver directly from Synaptics.  Try the W10 driver and the W8/7... driver.

Hey roxichp,

HP never tested your model for Windows 10 and doesn't guarantee drivers for it.  If the scroll feature for the touchpad doesn't work in Windows 10 but did work in Windows 7/8 then it's likely that the driver you have installed is too generic for the specific touchpad on your computer.

So which driver do you haver installed?  Did you try right-clicking and updating to the latest driver in Device Manager?  Did you try installing the Windows 8 driver from the hp download page for your model?
