Hey Everyone.

I'm  a little perplexed.  My LCD Screen went bad and I changed it and the new one works great. In addition, before and after this fix,  the screen was flickering a little almost like a short and I can hear a werid sound.  That still happens and now it is like there is a lightbulb out on my display. The right side stays lit and the left looks like a bulb is out.  Then after awhile it comes back on again. I have no idea what this is.  I have ruled out the LCD Display. Any other ideas?  If I were to guess I'd say it is the LCD inverter but on the web it seems like it makes the entire screen go black not just dim and like a light bulb is out.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

I'm feeling like it is the inverter going bad and I'm hearing it sort of short out or something. I'm trying to find the part online.

Then the dumb question I have is where is it located? I don't remember seeing it when I replaced the screen. I don't remember though for sure.
