As I read in a prior post, there have been quite a few people who have had this same issue happen.  I'm hoping that I can get a resolve here.

The lower right of my screen has popped out of it's frame.  There is a small, black tab that is very close to the hinge that looks like it let go.  I've tried pushing it back in, but the screen is so sensitive that I don't wish to break it in my attempt to repair it myself.  I used this computer for business and it's my only one...so I can't afford to be without it for more than a day.

It seems that the problem is that the plastic frame isn't strong enough to handle the stress that the hinges place on it.  The area just outside of the right hinge failed structurally, allowing the screen to pop out.  Looks like this is a design defect.  I believe that the covers should be made of metal.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

This sounds like hardware related issue with the display assembly and in order to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
