I have hp 15 notebook.Few days ago it started to flickr a line in top area.It flickers in time interval of 3-4 seconds and screen shakes for some time.I tried to take screenshot of my display but flickering line wont show up there.
Laptop specification:
Processor: i3 3rd generation
Ram: 4 GB

I understand you have display issues with your laptop.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Does the issue persist in BIOS?
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Please provide the product number of your PC to assist you better.
As you mentioned the laptop screen is flickering at a time interval of 3-4 seconds.
Try updating the graphics driver and BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.
Try updating the drivers using HP support assistant and check if it helps.
Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.
Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Also, refer this article to further troubleshoot no boot issues with your PC.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps and to get the hinges fixed, please contact HP support and check service for options for your laptop.
