HP Recommended
Pavilion 15 CC129tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased this laptop on December 2018 , after that There are several issue which i faced till now ,Hopefully I purchased a 2 year Extended warranty .

Problem 1 : Whenever i shut down my PC the lights of keyboard and power of switch still glows and it will never shutdown.

Problem 2 : Let's say  i am working on laptop and leave the laptop open and went away for some work but when i come back the laptop screen is turn of keyboard lights still glows , power of lights still glows but I am not able to wake the screen .( it is not the black screen issue , the display turn of completely )

Problem 3 : The laptop takes more than 2 hour to charge from 90 % to 100 %

Now for troubleshooting I have done a HP Recovery from the original DVD . I have also done all the system checks from the hp diagnostic tool

@Shubham_g1509 Some of the issues seem like they are hardware related, hence I suggest we start with an extensive hardware test, and its different from a regular system test:

Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details (Also, how was the recovery done? while keeping system files or complete reset?)

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

Click Extensive Test.

Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

@Riddle_Decipher

I have already done a extensive test on my PC . There was no issue reported . Everything got passed .

If I talk about the Recovery . It was done using the HP Recovery . Everything was formatted automatically.

If I talk about Hardware then within 1.5 year of the purchasing of this laptop

3 times the motherboard is replaced

2 times the harddisk is replaced

1 time the battery is replaced

1 time the TrackPad is replaced

1 time the Hinges of Scren is replaced

Theis same issue happened 1 year ago and they replaced the motherboard everything was working fine then but from last few days this started again.

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
