Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a game (Lord of the Rings - War in the North), and right after the game loaded, these dots started to appear on my screen. At first, they didn't show much, and I restarted the laptop, but than I couldn't even get into Windows, it just goes to this error screen. I formatted the laptop because I thought it might be a virus but it didn't help. Could it be a problem with the screen?01.jpg02.jpg03.jpg04.jpg

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

I suggest you run an Extensive Test from F2 diagnostic and let me know if you see the lines. This will also check the Hardware functionality

 

- Turn it back on, then tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests, then click Extensive Test.

I don't see the "System Test" option. I run these available tests in here anyway, and all say "test passed", but the problem still persists.

The screen seems to be fine while booting 

 

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

 

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

 

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

 

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

I can't even log in to Windows. By the time I write my password, the screen turns black and after a few seconds a blue screen appears saying "Your PC has run into a problem". Than it restarts and it goes through this all over again. I should mention that when this first happened, I could log in to Windows and work for a few minutes before the laptop froze completely.

- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests
