Hi @mehakali,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for reaching out — I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP PC screen. Let's see what we can do to help you get this resolved quickly.
If your screen seems to be coming out from the bottom-left corner, but there are no visible scratches or cracks, there are a couple of common possibilities we can explore together.
1. Physical Screen Separation
Sometimes the display panel can start lifting slightly from the casing. This might be due to:
- Normal wear over time (like weakened adhesive)
- A swollen battery, which is more common in laptops
- A small drop or bump that didn’t leave any visible marks
What to do:
- Please don’t try to press the screen back in — that can cause more damage.
- If this is a laptop, check to see if the bottom of the device looks swollen or uneven. A swollen battery needs to be addressed right away for your safety.
- The best step is to bring it to an HP Authorized Service Center, where our technicians can safely inspect and repair it. In most cases, we can reseat the screen or replace any affected components like the bezel, hinges, or battery.
2. Display or Visual Issue (Image Distortion, Light Glare, or Color Bleed)
If you're seeing image distortion, light leaking from the corner, or strange visual anomalies, it might be related to:
- Internal damage to the LCD
- Display driver issues
- Pressure damage behind the panel
Try this first:
- Restart your PC and enter the BIOS (tap Esc, F10, or F2 during startup). If you still see the issue there, it’s likely a hardware problem.
- Update your graphics drivers using the HP Support Assistant or from HP’s official site.
- If you can, connect your PC to an external monitor:
- If the external screen looks fine, your laptop’s display is likely at fault.
- If both screens show the same issue, your graphics card might be the cause.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
