Hi!

I have a wierd problem with my spectre laptop.

Sometimes when i have my computer running I connect or disconnect the charging cable, as you do. But my screen starts to flicker when i do it, a lot. Then goes black but flickers again when i move the mouse around. Since i get small glimpses when I move my mouse, I can click to restart the computer. The screen keeps flickering when it is shutting down. But everything is fine when it starts again.

This has once also happened when i changed from using it in laptop mode to just touch mode to draw something. But this happens less often than the charging cable one.

This problem is not consistant but still annoying. 

I have checked that i have all the updates, but it still happens.

What should I do? Is this a hardware problem or a software problem?

(This computer is almost compleatly new, I've had it for only just about two months.)

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

What is the product number of your computer?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
