OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 (7B9S2AV)

Hello,

A few days ago when I booted my laptop up, it showed a BIOS update screen instead of the user log in, however what worried me was the screen flickering that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, I was using my device the day before and the flickering wasn’t present. I decided to update the BIOS in hopes of fixing this terrible flickering, but I got no luck, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both graphics card drivers( integrated and rtx 4060), didn’t work, tried downloading the older version of BIOS but for some reason the HP assistant program told me that my laptop isn’t compatible with this bios update. The flickering also appears in BIOS and Task manager. I found a temporary fix by setting the refresh rate to 60, it would work perfectly fine until I set the refresh rate back to 165hz causing the flickering to appear once again. It would be nice if I could get it back to 165 without any issues, since that’s what I paid for.

Thank you in advance 😧

P.S
I also found out that after switching the graphics switcher to Hybrid, the flickering would disappear completely, putting it back on discrete would cause flickering again, so maybe it’s a software problem?
