Screen flickering and abnormal behavior

 It happens every now and then that:
My monitor looks bad, flickers, and turns light and dark.
1-Driver and firmware are up to date
2-if I connect the laptop via HDMI cable to another monitor, the problem is not there!
3-if I open and close the monitor, changing the opening angle, the problem does not change.
Any suggestions?

I see you are experiencing flickering screen issues with the HP Laptop.

I have a few recommendations 

• Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
• Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 

Try and check in Bios using the F10 key if the screen is flickering in Bios. To enter Bios, click restart and keep tapping the F10 key and then turn on the PC at the same time to enter Bios screen. 

If the issue persists in Bios then it is a hardware issue on the screen.
