Screen flickering black every time i hover over a video or gif

Every time i hover over a gif on twitter, or a video preview, my screen flickers black, i could be trying to watch Netflix and accidentally hover over a gif and suddenly my netflix video isnt playing cause the flickering screen messed it up. 

this is a brand new laptop, i've only had it a month!

Which browser are you using?

Have you tried in different browsers?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
