Screen goes black when flipped into tablet mode

Hi-- when the screen is flipped all the way back to make it a pad, it goes black when it locks into place.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the screen goes black when you switch to tablet mode.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend update the Chrome OS and make sure you are running the latest OS on the computer.

Here is how it is done.

At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses. Select Check for updates. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
