Hp 15 notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

The screen on my hp notebook became all static after my niece sat on the laptop the other day but its not cracked and if i plug in an hdmi cable i can display it on my tv but nothing on the screen itself so im just wondering if it needs a new screen or can it be fixed if anyone knows plz help thx

Most likely, that is the case -- but we here have no way of checking that or assisting you with screen replacement, as we are not HP Tech Support.

 

And be advised, having the screen replaced could easily run into LOTS of money, maybe enough to replace the laptop outright - and incidental screen damage is not covered by the HP warranty, so you would have to pay the full charges.

 

Since this is just a self-help forum staffed mostly by volunteers and we are neither able, nor permitted, to provide any repair estimates or equipment prices.

For this information, you would need to contact an HP Repair or Service Center.
