Hi,

If the display issue persists in BIOS then it is a hardware failure.

Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I came across your post and would like to help. I understand that you have an HP Pavilion 23 All in One PC and it has display issues. The display flickers and mirrors images. And is white at the bottom with vertical and horizontal lines going through it.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • Please let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
  • Did any hardware changes take place on the PC recently?

Meanwhile, I did some research and suggest you to carry out the below steps to isolate and fix the issue:

  • Shutdown the PC.
  • Disconnect all cables from the PC and also disconnect the power cable.
  • Press and hold the power button of the PC for 10 seconds and then release it.
  • Reconnect only the power cable, keyboard and mouse and power on the PC.

If the issue persists, let us check in the BIOS by following the below steps:

  • Shutdown the PC.
  • Power on the PC and immediately keep hitting the f10 key (7-10 times) to enter the BIOS screen.
  • If the display is the same in the BIOS then it indicates towards a hardware failure with the screen. For exploring the hardware service options for the PC please contact our HP phone support.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to let me know the results. Cheers! 🙂

23-1014 is product #. No recent hardware changes. Am more inclined to believe this is a screen issue.
