Screen popped off hinge , falling apart

My daughter has had this barely a year , she went to open it up and the screen came off the hinge and it’s splitting apart . 
I think for the the amount of money spent on this only for it to break at a year old is ridiculous. 
I can’t buy her a brand new laptop . What can I do ?
