HP Pavilion x360 - 14m-cd0001dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a new HP laptop in May 2019 and last week the screen popped out of the display. I have seen on this forum that this has been a problem for a significant number of people- it appears to be a defect in the manufacturing (otherwise why would so many people have this same issue?). All of the responses say that they will contact the customer privately, so I am posting this in hopes of receiving a response about my options for this repair. I really need to get this fixed- I am a teacher providing online learning and a therapist providing telehealth.

I've the same issue but since I'm out of warranty  they are quoting high charges for the repair which I'm not ready as it is almost half the original price. Am wondered why HP not offering free service after knowing it is a known issue their end. Am seriously concerned about the quality of the product and not worthy of the price because it is just 2 years old now where as am still using my 15 year old non-hp laptop still study.
