Whenever I touch the front cover of the laptop, those finger impressions can be felt in the screen like a deformed waves. As soon as I remove my hand the display will look normal. Also At the screen hinge area with the laptop, whenever there is any vibration or moment of the laptop, the display will create some kind of waves. I just wanted to know whether it is the build quality of the laptop or if it is a defect.

I reviewed your post and I understand that when you move the laptop the display color changes.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
This looks like a loose connection. The display cable connecting the motherboard may be loose are damaged. I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your computer.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
