Hi,

for some reason, my scroll lock has decided to turn on today. I opened the on-screen keyboard and the button was highlighted so I turned it off but the scroll lock is still on. Any ideas would be gratefully received as I've got an assignment in tomorrow and it is slowing things down.

Many Thanks

Ok thanks to the combination of beer, my wife and further investigation (in that order) I've worked it out. Word had the setting switched on which shows corrections to a document if there is a vertical red line alongside the text. On turning this option off the scroll lock turned off too.

Beats waiting for election results every time. Thanks to all of you who have seen the post and haven't responded due to not knowing what I'm talking about.

I've just found out that when I double-click on the cursor arrow on the on-screen keyboard the cursor will scroll, however, when I use the physical keyboard cursor immediately it only completes single shifts again and resets the onscreen keyboard back to single space shifts too???

The plot thickens!
