Self Scratching Spectre

My spectre was closed for a few hours and when I opened the laptop, my screen had managed to scratch itself. I can tell this was not done by me because the marks are very distinctly in line with the bottom of the trackpad when closed, and are perfectly parallel. Is this normal? It looks like more of a smudge mark but they are imbedded. I saw another thread about this with identical marks.
