I am wanting to connect two external monitors to my HP 15 Laptop PC, product number 8QQ67AV. Is this possible? Can my laptop handle two external displays? If so, what type of docking station or adapter should I get so I can get all three displays working (laptop screen and two external monitors). Thanks!

@NicholeRS

From its specs

          https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-laptop-15t-7df84av-1

It has

  • 1 HDMI 1.4;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo;
  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only);
  • 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate)

It USB-C is hopeless for video out. You can connect your machine to two monitors

M1: Using  HDMI direct,

M2: Using a DisplayLink Certified USB-A to HDMI (or DVI, or DP)  . for example:

                     https://www.amazon.com.au/CableCreation-Adapter-Windows-Compatible-2560x1440/dp/B013G4CJM8

For more connectivity, please use

                   True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.

Thank you Banhein. I appreciate your expertise and help. I did contact support and sales and it seems my machine just does not have the capacity to support tow external displays, as the USB-c port only supports data transfer. Even with the adapter it still does not work. I sure do appreciate you getting back to me though!
