HP Display 14s ; HP 15s-fq1028nb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I connevt my new HP 14s on my laptop (HP 15s-fq1028nb), I get the error that there is no signal.
I tried the display with the same cable on a Dell computer, and everything is working well.

Did all the updates (windows, bios) on the laptop, but it makes no difference ...

How do you connect them ?  What is your HP 14s ?  Is it an  HP EliteDisplay S14 Portable Monitor ? The specs of your machine is

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06596885

and the monitor is

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06092879#AbT4

The monitor ONLY has USB-C input port which is NOT compatible with the USB-C on your machine. The USB-C port on your machine does NOT support Alt mode, it only  is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only).

Regards.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Is there any solution ... It's a brand new Screen and the PC is only 2 months old ?

(USB to USB-C converter or something like that ?)

Many thanks,

Jan
