I have just downloaded the most recent Sims 4 - laundry day pack and now the game won't run as it keeps coming up with the error saying the graphics card/ driver isn't supported and the error: 0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012d:912c9c10.
I also have an NVIDIA Geforce GPU in the laptop but when I try to use the Geforce experience to launch Sims 4 it still won't work.
I have tried to launch the NVIDIA control panel as well and this comes up saying that there isn't a display connected to an NVIDIA GPU. I need help to solve this.
I might also add that the solution needs to ideally be something that can be done at home with a minimum of technical skills as I don't live somewhere I can easily get technical help with this and won't be back in the UK for another 6 months.

Through a different post regarding my NVIDIA control panel not opening I was provided a solution which I have listed below. The help for this came from @Barachiel and @KrazyToad.
I want to say thank-you to KrazyToad and Barachiel for their help. I have managed to fix the problem through the link Barachiel provided: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-envy-15-ae100-notebook-pc/8499282/model/9044472/document/c01...
and using step 2 and clicking on Update the driver for the original graphics card where I selected "Click here to view all available drivers for this product" and then "driver-graphics" before downloading and installing both the "Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver" and the "NVIDIA High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver". Now both my NVIDIA control panel and SIMS4 game seem to be running fine.

Use the following link on your notebook to see if it is capable of running the game.

Thank-you for offering this solution.
However, my Norton security won't allow the software to install on my computer - it keeps saying it is a threat and putting it into quarantine. Plus it doesn't check for the most recent SIMS 4 release - laundry day.
