HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3X9AV)

I have owned an HP 255G laptop for a year and a half. Yesterday, I noticed two very small vertical lines at the very edge (sides) of the screen, on both the right and left sides. The line on the right side extends a few centimeters and starts as a cyan then turns into a faint blue shade, but quickly loses any impact, that is, it disappears. On the left side, I looked immediately and simultaneously noticed a red vertical line at the end of the screen, which is three times smaller and even paler.

I briefly explored and found one person with a similar problem:

I updated the graphics driver (Intel HD Graphics) for this specific laptop to version 30.0.101.2079. As soon as I updated it, I noticed that the color of the line changed from cyan to a slightly paler blue on the right side, and it became a bit smaller.

What exactly happens:

  • The first time I noticed this was a few days ago. I restarted the laptop, but it didn't fix anything. Updated the graphics. Color changed.

  • I left the laptop off overnight. When I turned it on again, nothing was visible. After 30 minutes of use, that same line slowly started to appear, and became more noticeable.

  • I also booted into BIOS, and I couldn't see any of this. Two reasons why. One is due to the color of BIOS that somehow overwhelms this vertical line in a way I can't possibly see it with my own eye. Second reason, it could be something else.

The laptop was bought in 2022 December, and it's a fairly good one, and it's served me extremely well with NO issues. This is the first that I've encountered. Can someone please assist/how to proceed. I really want to believe that this is a ***temporary*** thing, but at the same time, it doesn't appear so...

Appendix:
I also wonder why does this happen in such a specific way.
