I have an HP Spectre model 13-ae014dx hat I purchased in late 2018. In the last week or so, I have noticed that the screen in the laptop appears to have ghost images, looking like the top bars of a browser. I assume that this is what screen burn in looks like. i had no idea that modern laptops could have screen burn-in issues. Is there any way to address this short of a screen replacement, which likely is as much as a full replacement? I cannot say how disappointed I am with to need to deal with this issues after spending $1500 on the laptop only a few years ago, and this is a home laptop. It is not as though it is sitting on all day.
