Hello,
I recently purchased an Acer Nitro XZ342CK curved 34" monitor which I plan to use for work.
I am trying to connect it to my Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-eb1043dx but am having issues. I'm using the provided HDMI cord and have been able to get my old 2014 macbook pro to successfully connect with the monitor.
When I plug the HDMI cord in, I hear the little 'device connected' sound from my laptop & the monitor looks like it's making an effort to connect, but always ends up saying 'No Signal'. In my display settings I can see that shows an external monitor connected and in the advanced settings it shows that it recognizes the XZ342CK model, however it says "Display 2 isn't active". There isn't any way to activate it. I also tried using Intel Graphics Command Center which showed the same thing and the 'Enable' button didn't do anything. I've also tried installing drivers, but the computer says that all drivers are up to date.
I went through a full support chat cycle with Acer which was fruitless. Since I've been able to connect my macbook, I know the monitor & cable work and this is a computer issue. Any help here is greatly appreciated.
