Can anyone provide instructions for checking, reconnecting, and/or replacing the CONNECTION HARDWARE FOR THE CAMERA for HP Spectre x360? Device Manager says all my drivers up to date but that my camera is NOT CONNECTED (Error Code 45).
I already followed the steps suggested by an HP support agent on someone else's similar inquiry, but that basically just says that if the hardware connection is disconnected, my computer needs service. This is NOT AT ALL helpful, since HP already previously told me they no longer provide hardware support for the Spectre.
I also already tried the HP Diagnostics software; despite the instructions saying to select webcam from the Component check section, the webcam check option isn't even on the list for me to select it.
I don't come anywhere near affording another computer at the moment, so I'm looking to repair it myself. Thanks in advance.

The webcam is not a customer replaceable parts so you will not find detailed instructions on how to replace it
HP still services the Spectre Models and there must be a confusion. Please try contacting HP Support in your Region once again and check on the Service Options
