I recently bought a HP Spectre x360 13 inch laptop. Immediately noticed under natural lightt, all blacks turn into greens. So much that people I had video call with thought I was wearing a green top while it was all black.
The laptop is brand new, All updates are installed, the problem was there from the start and consistent in all video applications. Clearly a hardware and or driver issue.
I heard color issues are common. I took a picture under same lightning and same angle with a mac os and there were no issues with the picture from mac.
I don't want to ask for a replacement if the issue will still persist. I'm in my first week after purchase, still considering if this is big enough for me to ask for a refund or not. Any guidance is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ozer.

@Ozerg Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.
That said, Here's a few things that should help us resolve the issue:
-
Make sure your video recording environment has good lighting.
-
Change the image quality, brightness, contrast, and other adjustments in the webcam software.
To resolve problems with choppy playback, take the following actions:
-
Reduce the size of the video image in the webcam software.
-
Use a high-speed Internet connection.
-
Do not use other high-speed USB devices while using the webcam.
To troubleshoot other video quality problems, refer to one of the following HP support documents:
