Stylus HP MPP 2.0 writes without touching the screen sometimes

This problem is very annoying at times. The stylus writes without applying any pressure to the screen. The problem is solved if I keep the laptop off for sometime. The Windows is upto date. Also the drivers are upto date in the HP Support Assistant software.

I don't know if the problem is with the stylus or the device. It's not the problem with the nib as well. I've got this problem with different nib which came with the stylus. I've got this problem even after resetting the PC.

Please help.
