HP Envy x360 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

Recently my cat stepped on my screen causing a spiderweb crack that was large enough I needed to get a screen replacement. Today I got my 2 in 1 back, and the screen looks great. The touchscreen works when I press my finger to the screen, however I have issues with my active stylus. Now the stylus I'm using is also a replacement, I lost the original, but  had no issues with calibration or touch issues. However, since the screen replacement the cursor is offset from where I try to press it. I get the closest to accurate calibration when I hover the stylus in the upper left hand corner, however when I drag the stylus down, the distance between the cursor and the stylus grows tremendously. When I move the stylus around the screen the cursor is nowhere near where I try to move it. I can't do the windows calibration program to try and fix it because when I try to tap the cross hairs it still doesn't register properly.

I am running an HP Envy x360 2 in 1 laptop with an HP Stylus Pen

Model:1MR94AA#ABL
SKU:5902029

Please, anything helps as I need to be able to use my stylus to take notes and make art.

[EDIT] Ok I solved it and it's working like a charm. The solution I used was I searched for the pen calibration setting window from the search bar. When that pulled up, instead of pressing the button to re-calibrate the pen manually by tapping all the cross hairs, I instead pressed the "Reset" button which prompted that it would erase all previous pen calibration data. When I did this it immediately started working again with the same precision as before the screen replacement.

I wanted to add this update in case anyone else was having this issue, as I was at my wit's end searching forums trying to find a solution.
