Stylus looses precision at the bottom of the page

Hello,

I take notes with my stylus pen in class a lot. I've noticed that as I approach the bottom of the page (or screen) in OneNote the pen looses precision and my handwriting becomes the mess of a 10 year old.

Is this normal ?

Did I forget to calibrate something ?

Is it specific to HP Stylus pens or OneNote or is my pen broken ?

The battery is fresh, my computer works fine except for a boot issue I wrote about in the boot section of the forum.
