Hi,
I have the same issue of the switchable graphics not working. Right now I just see an Intel HD driver listed under display in device manager. And I dont see catalyst senter or amd catalyst center or switchable graphics listed under the context menu when I right click on the desktop. I do have AMD catalyst center in the control panel after I installed the AMD driver from the hp website for my laptop.
Do I need to, like you said uninstall the Intel driver, and uninstall the AMD catalyst center, and then reboot? Because when I do that, the laptop reboots with just one generic basic video adapter listed under display in device manager. Shouldnt I see two? Or at this point, should i go and install the AMD driver that you mentioned, the sp58894, and not the Intel one? After installing this, will I then see two devices (Intel and AMD) listed under display in device manager
