Sir Paul, the setup does not start automatically. Do I need to start the setup manually?

The installation of sp61715.exe still failed. It still showed BSOD error 116, and still points to atikmpag.sys. I don't know why does this keep showing. There was never any problems before, and I don't know if it's a faulty video card.

A bad AMD GPU could be a possibility.

The original driver I posted should have worked continuously without problems.

I posted my problem on the other forum, and they're suggesting I install them separately. I've also seen this thread https://community.amd.com/thread/180667. Do you think this can help, or maybe check more solutions?

Hi:

At this point you can try anything and see what happens.

You have nothing to lose.

Hi, I want to update you about the installation of the graphics drivers. Right now, I am running on standalone Intel graphics. I tried to install the latest AMD drivers today, and during the installation, I encountered another BSOD, and once again it points to atikmpag.sys. I don't know what I can do to fix this. Do you think I must contact HP support now?

Hi:

If your notebook is not under warranty, HP technical support will charge you a very high price to help you -- probably more than the notebook is worth.

I am leaning toward the AMD GPU being damaged.

Hi. Is it possible to replace the GPU at least? If I couldn't get it done by myself, I'm open to sending it to a repair center, which may charge me to an equivalent of at least a hundred bucks. I'm not sure yet, I'm still finding other options on how I can fix this.

Hi:

The entire motherboard would have to be replaced.

IMO, it would be more cost effective for you to purchase a different notebook rather than sinking a couple hundred dollars into repairing that one.

Hi, I have the same issue and i am following te exact same steps as u said. Well, it asks for a reboot after uninstalling the intel driver and the amd driver. Should reboot it or will it cause problems? and can u also briefly explain what these drivers mean and how they are used. THanx.
