I understand you're facing issues with your Victus by HP 16-e0352AX where the touchpad is not working and is also heating up. Let's work through this step-by-step to resolve the issue.

Perform a Hard Reset

This helps clear any temporary hardware glitches.

  1. Shut down the laptop.
  2. Disconnect the power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power and turn on the laptop.

Check BIOS Touchpad Settings

Sometimes the touchpad may be disabled in BIOS.

  1. Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
  2. Navigate to Advanced > Built-in Device Options.
  3. Ensure Internal Pointing Device is Enabled.
  4. Press F10 to save and exit.

Update or Reinstall Touchpad Drivers

If the touchpad is missing from Device Manager, it could be a driver issue.
