Product Number: KOY5OEA#ABU.
I've gone through everything the HP Virtual Assistant suggested including upgrading the BIOS.
I am not a techie so someone else installed the SSD.
System information says 'No Pen or Touch Input is available for this Display'

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer is to make sure that you have installed the latest Intel graphics driver from your notebook's support page, which is this one...

That is very odd since that is the driver on your PC's support page.
When you go to the device manager and click to expand the display adapters device manager category, what do you see listed there?
There should be an Intel HD graphics adapter listed there.
If there is a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed there, the graphics driver is missing, and that may be why the touchscreen isn't working.
Let me know what you see there, because there is a way I will give you to manually install the graphics driver.
If you do see an Intel HD graphics adapter listed there, unfortunately I wouldn't know why the touchscreen feature is disabled.
The specs for your model confirm that it has a touchscreen.

That is why the driver didn't install then.
Your notebook probably has a newer version of the driver installed by W10.
I don't know what else you can try.
If you didn't install the Intel chipset installation utility driver, you may want to give that a try.

that last link you sent installed but still no tablet mode.
The virtual assistant got me to check if a HID-Compliant-Touchscreen entry was in Device Manager under Human Interface Devices but it isn't.
Does that shed any more light on what my problem is?

Sorry the chipset driver didn't work.
Unfortunately, I don't know what software/driver you need to get that device to show up, because between the chipset and graphics drivers, the touchscreen should be working.
There are no specific touchscreen drivers per se. None you can download.
