This has been raised on other threads and forums re other HP models, I'm just wondering if anyone has found a workaround/software/settings solution or if it is entirely a hardware screen issue - the viewing angle on this laptop with the sureview 3 privacy screen (turned off!) is absolutely terrible. I can't actually work on it because if I reposition in the slightest I have to adjust the screen and regardless it hurts my eyes because no matter what position I/the screen are in areas of the screen are different brightness levels (again I have toggled the privacy screen off). Ironically I got this laptop purely because I wanted a 1000 nits display to work in bright areas, the viewing is equally as unworkable in low and bright light settings. Also while I am here this laptop is all round the worst I have ever bought (probook 445 G7), new out of the box the function keys didn't work and I had to update BIOS (it's a 2020 computer and I bought it in 2020), it's also the slowest lag-iest thing I have worked on in ten years, I would have sent it back but got it shipped from the US to Australia and didn't want the hassle. Hoping someone has a solution for the display issue so that I can use it, otherwise back to my 5 year old dim Zenbook that can open 150 tabs run a statistics program and sync 4 clouds faster than this probook can open a word document 😕

No way, issue is not solved because not addressable at all.
This is a production flaw and only solution is to RMA the laptop and request another one WITHOUT this horrible HP SureView "feature", which on the G6 (and possibly other models too) is totally broken.
