Hp victus 15 fb0027nl

The Veiwing angle on my HP victus 15 is very Bad even a very slight tilt to an angle will make it look washed out, and on it was said to have an IPS panel in several reviews. It's they anything I can do to fix it?

Hi @Cinel,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Victus 15 laptop has poor viewing angles despite having an IPS panel, there are a few things you can consider.

  • Check Display Settings: Sometimes, adjusting the brightness and contrast settings can improve the perceived viewing angles. Ensure that your display settings are optimized for your viewing environment.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can sometimes affect display quality. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date by visiting the HP support website or using HP Support Assistant.
  • Calibrate the Display: Use Windows' built-in display calibration tool to adjust gamma, contrast, and brightness settings. This can sometimes mitigate issues with viewing angles by optimizing how colors and brightness are displayed.
  • Physical Adjustment: If possible, adjust the laptop's screen angle to find the best viewing position. IPS panels generally offer better viewing angles than TN panels, but the optimal angle might vary.
  • Consider External Display: If viewing angles are a significant issue, connecting your laptop to an external monitor with better viewing angles can provide a better viewing experience for tasks that require precise color representation and wide-angle viewing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
