The ZIF connector to which TouchPad button board cable is attached was broken

Hi

My laptop is Pavilion Dv6

The part of the ZIF connector to which TouchPad button board cable is attached was broken.

The white part which is used to lock the other side of the TouchPad button board cable, and fixing it firmly onto the system board (as shown in screenshot) was broken.

 

 

I tried making the TouchPad button board cable touch the remaining part of  ZIF the on system board, but it wasn't fixed well since the ZIF part tightening the cable was broken, and no longer locking the cable.

I aIso put the the pice of purple paper into it. So do you think  the pice of purple paper made disconnection?

I tried turning on my laptop, but I saw  TouchPad button board not functioning as if no TouchPad button board device was plugged.

What should I do since the part of ZIF broken cannot be bonded by any kind of adhesive to the other part still built into system board?

At least I need a way letting my TouchPad button board cable have connection to  system board and  be back working  again even if it will still be loose(not firmly fixed into system board).

I don't have money to replace the motherboard.

Also, I think it's unacceptable to replace the system board just sine ZIF to which TouchPad board cable is attached was broken.

I am now using nother  mouse  via USB port.

But I wanna find a way to refix my issue.
