HP ENVY x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On all windows 10 computers I work with, the windows key+arrow keys can be used to move windows around. On my new HP ENVY x360, it works differently. This is extremely annoying!!!!!! I found an HP webpage list the keyboard shortcuts defined by HP: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02951398 , and it confirm HP does this deliberately!

e.g.

Minimize window    Windows key + Down arrow    Remove the current window from view without closing. You can access the window again by clicking the tray icon.

I **REALLY** like to have the standard Windows 10 behavior.

How can I switch off these 'enhancements' ?

@Buts Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the arrow keys of my new HP ENVY x360 do not move the windows.

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
