HP Recommended

My mouse either bounces all over the place or stops working all together. Then ... sometimes it does. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and rebooted twice after the reinstall. No solution. Costco, which is where I purchased, is suggesting a OS reinstall, which is not an acceptable solution. This is the second HP where I have had these problems. They seem to have a 1 year shelf live and then the mouse can't seem to keep up with the change. I am looking for an HP employee response only please.
