The power button is on and the charging light is white when it’s plugged in, but the display isn’t not coming up. I’ve tried a bunch of troubleshooting but no matter what buttons I press or how many hard resets I try the screen isn’t turning on

@tanmay_07, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Try an External Monitor

Connect an HDMI cable to an external monitor or TV.

Power on the laptop and press Windows + P multiple times (wait 5 seconds between presses).

If display appears on the external screen, your internal LCD or its connection may be the issue.

Perform a Hard Reset

Power off.

Unplug the charger.

Press and hold the power button for 15–30 seconds.

Leave it for 1 minute.

Plug in only the charger (no USB devices).

Hold Windows + B, then press and hold Power for 2–3 seconds, then release only the Power key (keep Win + B held for 10 more seconds).

This triggers BIOS recovery.

If screen comes up, follow on-screen instructions.
