Hi @Piyasa28,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're seeing a dead pixel on your HP Laptop 15s-eq2xx screen. We understand how distracting this can be, and we’re here to help clarify your options.

If the pixel is stuck (not dead), you can try running a pixel refresher tool or use an online "stuck pixel fixer" video that rapidly cycles colors to unstick it.

Search online for "stuck pixel fixer video" and run it in full-screen for about 15–30 minutes.

If the dot remains unchanged, it's likely a dead pixel, not a stuck one.

HP follows an industry-standard ISO pixel policy, which means:

  • A single dead pixel does not usually qualify for a screen replacement under warranty.
  • However, if there are multiple dead/stuck pixels or they're in a highly visible area, the display may be eligible for service.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
