I'm trying to update the firmware on my G2 dock to the latest version but it keeps saying "Device not connected."
The dock works for both display and peripherals, but for some reason the Package driver doesn't see that it is connected.
- It will just load up for a while before saying it's not connected.
I've tried changing the type-C port on my laptops and made sure all the ports (including thunderbolt) are updated and enabled in Device manager and the BIOS.
I've tried with other G2 docks on different HP laptops and keep getting the same result.
I've also tried different docks (G4 and G5) on vthe same laptops and they work fine.
I don't iff the problem is with the docks them selves or the driver patches but it doesn't look like theres any solution to this problem.
