Hi Everyone,
I've sourced a Thinderdock G2 so my wife can use her Elitebook to connect to two external monitors and this works fine for both display and power. My problem is this: I have an older ProBook 430 G4 that I cant get working with the Thunderdock for anything other than ethernet.
Is there a way for the Thunderdock to be used for dual screen working for my Probook? When I connect via USBc I get a popup asking to check if my MHL device is supported by my PC.
I am assuming that the USBc on my Probook doesnt facilitate a video connection (or charging for that matter). I'm not too worried about having to use an external power pack but it would be good to be able to use the external monitors. Is this possible? For example is there a USBc to HDMI converter I could connect to the cable that comes out the front of the Thunderdock?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately not, I have a ProBook 430 G4 and it seems only the 600 G4 is on that list.
Although it’s not directly compatible, I wondered if there was a way to make it work with and adapter cable or similar.
