I also have a 13-ae055na Spectre with a Tilt pen bought in April 2018. I can turn the Bluetooth off but if I press the end cap i can briefly see a green light flash. The charge holds for about 3 days even if I haven't used it.
How on earth do you turn the thing off COMPLETELY???

You can charge your's? The stupid pen I got with my brand new HP envy, bought yesterday, has NO light (no matter how I twist turn or otherwise look for a locking mechanism) it has NO charging function, taking AAAA batteries. And NO off switch.
so very, very dissapointing
grrr
@AlisterCass wrote:What a ridiculous idea. Having said that it only takes about 30 minutes to charge. But that is a pain if you forget ....

@Riddle_Decipher
I have the same issue and frustration (as previously reported) so if you can PM too me I'd be grateful (or find a way round the privacy policy to post the answer on this forum as I'm sure others have a similar issue).

Hi!
I really appreciate you getting in touch but this is clearly an issue affecting more people.
I'll be glad to help in anyway I can but I really think HP should solve this issue publicly so everyone knows that, at least, it's interested in the satisfaction of their customers.
Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
