Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Two-Finger Scrolling Issue on HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0087tu!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If two-finger scrolling is not working on your HP Pavilion x360, you may need to update or reinstall the touchpad driver. Here are steps you can follow to fix this issue:
Check Touchpad Settings:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
- Ensure the two-finger scrolling is enabled.
Update Touchpad Driver:
- Open Device Manager.
- Find "Mice and other pointing devices" and expand it.
- Right-click on the touchpad device (likely labeled as HID-compliant touchpad or Alps Alpine HID Mouse).
- Select "Update driver".
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
Reinstall Touchpad Driver:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the touchpad device.
- Select "Uninstall device".
- Restart your laptop.
- Windows should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
Download Latest Driver:
- You can download the latest touchpad driver from the HP support website. Here are the steps.
- Go to HP Support.
- Enter your laptop model number (HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0087tu).
- Download and install the latest touchpad driver compatible with Windows 11.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
- If updating the drivers does not resolve the issue, you can download and install the Alps Alpine HID Mouse driver if your model uses it.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
