Hi @Vasu1221,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart Your Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

Check Touchpad Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
  • Ensure the touchpad settings are enabled.

Function Key and Driver Check:

  • Some HP laptops have a function key that disables the touchpad. Look for a function key with a touchpad icon and press it to see if it re-enables the touchpad.
  • Update or reinstall the touchpad drivers:
    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand the Mice and other pointing devices section.
    • Right-click on the touchpad and choose Update driver or Uninstall device (then restart to reinstall).

Windows Update:

  • Ensure Windows is up to date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
